ANNUAL SALARY: Molloy utilizes a salary calculation tool that is designed to treat all University employees fairly and maintain internal equity with-in our compensation structure. GENERAL PURPOSE
The project coordinator will support the success of Molloy’s Center for Health Equity by ensuring the successful delivery of two components of a Mother Cabrini Health Foundation grant: Pillar One - Community Care Outreach, Screening, and Education and Pillar Two - Person-Centered Continuum of Care. The project coordinator will work closely with the University’s faculty and students, community partners, and members of the public, to deliver health and wellness services to communities facing barriers to accessing traditional healthcare. This will include outreach, screening, educational and follow-up services utilizing Molloy’s mobile clinic. This is a grant-funded position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the administration and coordination of Pillar One (Community Care) and Pillar Two (Continuum of Care) of Molloy’s Center for Health Equity. Working in consultation with project director and medical director, the project coordinator will plan activities that meet project goals, respond to budgetary and inventory needs, and monitor project effectiveness. Under direction from the project director, ensure alignment with Mother Cabrini Health Foundation guidelines, Molloy policies, and any applicable government regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Community Care mobile clinic and related Continuum of Care services. Work in partnership with faculty, administrators, and students across the University to provide support and direct services to Long Island communities that have been historically and intentionally excluded. Assist with patient referrals between disciplines and Molloy clinics. Work with University leadership to create meaningful field experiences for Molloy students. Advance student scholarships/fellowships through the award process. Coordinate with the driving vendor, maintenance, public safety, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible delivery of services. Work with team on marketing strategies and assist in creation of materials.
  • Outreach to community partners to schedule health events with entities such as school districts, food pantries, shelters, government agencies, housing authorities, social service organizations, and churches. Ensure community sites are suitable and arrange for appropriate services to be delivered. Expand partnerships to reach more community members and enhance the student experience.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork (scholarships, fellowships), document all project goals, and assist in drafting reports.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree (Healthcare Administration, Medical, Social Sciences, Public Health).
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • 3-5 years of work-related experience
