PROJECT ENGINEER 010323 Job at Ventamatic, Ltd.
A project engineer will ensure that projects and tasks are on track within the engineering department as well as seeing to other needs within the engineering department. This includes, but is not limited to project management, research and development, quality control, production support and plant safety. The project engineer will work with the engineering team to create and maintain production control guides and quality control documentation. The project engineer will assist with product testing and quality assurance programs. The project engineer will be required to oversee other production and quality assurance employees during training and initial product manufacturing stages.

Job Duties:
- Project Management
- Take ownership of new projects and tasks as they arise.
- Manage tasks from product development projects to ensure timely completion.
- Research and Development
- Create, modify, and test prototypes, products and processes.
- Research ideas and solutions.
- Prepare and conduct tests and collect data.
- Calculate or record results during experiments.
- Quality Control
- Inspect materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in developing quality standards for finished goods and raw materials.
- Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
- Production Support
- Apply engineering principles to identify technical solutions to problems that occur during production.
- Work with production staff to identify the root cause of problems that occur during production.
- Identify manufacturing equipment or processes that require attention to prevent injuries.
- Utilize technical drawings to determine including critical dimensions, tolerances and material properties.
- Other needs and responsibilities that may arise.
