Project Manager, Customer Engagement I - Remote

Scheduled hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Major Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively using written and verbal methods to appropriate audiences.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on questions or concerns from Care/Sales/Customers on systems and processes
  • Leads research projects and analyzes findings to make recommendations for the next steps
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Recommend and document business and system requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as Transportation, IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing, Operations, and Finance to meet objectives
  • Perform user acceptance testing, including test planning, use cases, scripts, script execution, installation verification, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze customer survey feedback to identify opportunities for training, education, root cause analysis, and resolve repetitive issues.
  • Facilitate system training sessions for customer
  • Collect system bug and enhancement suggestions and offer recommendations for prioritization
  • Participate in business interruptions discussions to help evaluate the impact to customers and sales to determine the appropriate level of communication required during or outside regular business hours
  • Understands and demonstrates Essendant's Core Values and Guiding Actions.
  • Support SOX as requested
  • Work with customers as needed
  • Manage competing priorities
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Remote Work Requirements:

  • Flextime and/or Remote Work associates are responsible for having a designated and properly appointed work area, maintaining a safe work environment, and securing their equipment and work products in line with Essendant’s policies
  • Associates who begin a Remote Work arrangement must have, at a minimum, a reliable, high-speed internet connection for remote access (VPN), consisting of 25 Mbps or greater download speeds and 5 Mbps upload or greater, a Cell Phone or an analog landline that meets company requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • BA certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office
