Our fast-paced and growing company is looking for the right person to fill an integral position within the Precision Mechanical Team.

MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Principle Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating the complete construction and administrative requirements of various bid packages; develop the baseline construction schedule; monitor actual job progress and schedule all phases of the job project to include all labor, subcontracting and material requirements.

Standard Duties

-Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

-Manage the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project

-Develop a schedule for project completion

-Review and progress the project schedule with project team, updating schedule as required

-Manage project staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization

-Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate

-Maintain files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured

-Lead meetings in person and on Teams with staff, subcontractors, owners and management to accurately communicate progress and coordination.

-Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

-Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures, inclusive of basic proposal preparation for change order conditions.

-Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)

-Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

College degree in Construction management or equivalent education/experience plus 3 years of project management experience.

Capabilities

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules. Good oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in the use of computers for:

-Word processing

-Simple accounting

-Spreadsheets

-E-mail

-Internet

Physical Requirements

Bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 25 pounds
