Propane Service Tech Assistant- Orange Plant Job at Tiger Fuel Company
Description: This full time position will help our Service Team with the installation and maintenance of propane gas systems throughout the year. This is an entry-level, general labor position and a great opportunity for a hard working individual to learn more about the propane industry. Additionally, we'd like to invite and facilitate this Tech to obtain their CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within the first 12 months of employment.

Job Duties
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of propane distribution systems and appliances.
- Service, repair and troubleshoot gas logs, and other propane equipment
- Provide emergency response for system issues
- Learn the field! Take time to observe and problem-solve
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service and reliable service.
- Collaborate with Lead Service Technician to accomplish projects and work as a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience necessary, but mechanical aptitude and interest required
- No CDL with Hazmat, tanker and air brake endorsement is required, but ability/desire to attain CDL within a year is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and climb on ladders & roofs
- Basic math and computer skills
- Current, valid driver's license required
- Ability to operate company vehicle in safe manner
- Background check & drug screen required
