Protech Director, Supply Chain Job at Protech Automotive Solutions
Job Summary
As the Director, Supply Chain at Protech, you will direct the procurement and management of materials and tools, inventory management, vendor relations, and distribution arrangements. A key objective of this role is to examine existing processes and opportunities for streamlining activities for product distribution. This includes procurement optimization, supply chain collaboration, fleet management, and warehouse improvement, while reducing costs and improving accuracy. The incumbent will also be tasked with creating a modern supply chain department from the ground up.
Role and Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data, understand shortcomings and inefficiencies to implemented processes to improve Supply Chain and Fleet Department functions.
- Forecast inventory needs and production schedules and create strategies to improve the workflow output.
- Work with (but not limited to) both Internal and Field Operations, Sales, Tools, and Emerging Business Lines.
- Coach and provide teammates evaluations for growth and improvement.
- Establishes company culture and core values within teams.
- Establish job expectations and monitored Key Performance Indicators to measure operational performance.
- Devise supply and demand modeling tools to assist executive management in making key strategic Supply Chain and Fleet decisions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to set up logistics and fleet structures to accommodate new business dynamics.
- Work with CSCS (corporate) partners to developed supply chain management functions for Emerging Business Lines.
- Attend internal coordination and progress meetings, providing updates as needed
- Standardize, implement, and facilitate logistics and company operational objectives to Service Providers, and/or associates.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Leadership experience of 5 years and 10 years in supply chain or a related field
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or similar
- MCIPS certification preferred
- Proven success leading a team, including management level, in addition to building and/or growing supply chain department
- Data-driven decision maker with excellent program management and organizational skills
- Solid listening, verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; proven ability to solidify and grow relationships and influence key stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally with all areas of the business
- Strong work ethic and high energy level
- Willingness to expand and learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license and ability to pass
