Purchasing Assistant
Purchasing experience is preferred as is office/business experience
Excel – must be at least intermediate skill level
SAP experience preferred but not required
Degree not required but preferred
Manufacturing experience and inventory experience preferred as well
Looking for someone who is detail-oriented and can work on their own
Need to be self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks and be deadline conscious
Able to work with our vendors – good personality – someone who takes initiative and can problem solve
Responsibilities of this position:
- Issue purchase order per requisition from purchasing manager for all kinds of products;
- Assist the ordering of MRO and office supply;
- Assist the sourcing and value suppliers for MRO and office supply;
- Assist the orders status tracking and update on report and system and update to production as needed
- Assist the inventory update and physical counting on floor
- Assist the data inputting and implementing of ERP system
- Prepare and running reports of orders and inventory for purchasing manager
- Assist the costing for the daily domestic orders received
- Tracking sales and usage abnormal and report to purchasing manager
