Purchasing Clerk Job at Tokai Carbon CB Ltd.
Essential Functions:
Monitoring and expediting delinquent orders.
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
Authorizes payment for purchases by obtaining/scanning/ and attaching receiving documentation to the appropriate location in accounting system.
Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents. Documentation Skills.
Process and enter new/existing invoices / Ad hoc requests and inquiries.
Collaborate with various internal and external entities to communicate.
Invoice/billing status and discrepancies
Creation, approval, and distribution of invoice vouchers
Proper coding of accounts with any discrepancies.
Organize and file all reports and documents timely and accurately.
Assisting with minor plant need scheduling such as trash/dumpster delivery/pickup, including filing out waste manifests and coordinating with vendors for schedule.
Assistance with ISO record keeping for up-to-date documentation.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-4 years of direct purchasing experience
- Intermediate level written and verbal communication skills especially with respect to negotiation of contracts.
- Entry level expertise evaluating, reviewing, and managing contract including terms and conditions.
- Working knowledge of data analytics
- Ability to drive and adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once to timely completion.

- Manufacturing industry experience with heavy emphasis on carbon black manufacturing or other like industry.
- Ability to operate Microsoft Dynamic 365 software package.
