Python Developer
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), is an award-winning IT solutions provider. Astor is headquartered in Rockville, MD, and is seeking a Software Developer Senior. This position is based in the McLean, VA area with some travel to Rockville, MD. A hybrid remote work model may be available for consideration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for enterprise systems
- Writing scalable code using Python programming language.
- Testing and debugging applications.
- Develop, update, and enhance the software components of the currently implemented pilot system and any additional modernization development activities
- Responsible for development of RESTful web services that host data to production systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experiences in developing using Python
- Experience using Django framework is preferred
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
Requirements
- Covid vaccine
- Ability to obtain federal public trust clearance
