Overview

We are looking for a talented QA leader to join the Rebuy team as a QA Manager. In this role, you will help to direct, drive and build out a successful Quality Assurance team. You will help to take our QA and Engineering teams through the next exciting phases of growth and be a key driver in the direction of our QA team.

What you'll do

• Manage a small cross-functional team of QA professionals
• Maintain high expectations and quality standards for your team
• Work with upper management on the direction of the QA team and its work
• Refine current Manual testing procedures and work to further our automated test software (using TestSigma) to ensure the quality of product function, performance and scale
• Assist in making strategic decisions about processes, tools and platforms required for QA process
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Monitor all operations that affect quality
• Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met
• Formulate strategies to increase productivity
• Developing quality control policies and standards for the company to follow
• Communicate with the larger company about their observations and findings
• Remain in touch with customer satisfaction, product performance, production, and engineering departments.

Required experience and mindset

• Experience managing a QA or software development team
• 3-5 years of QA experience, using both manual and automated application testing
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Ability to work remotely effectively
• Energized by building something new in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
• Leadership skills, to manage cross-functional projects and teams.
• Critical thinking skills, to help work through customer problems and production issues, as well as develop strategies for improving product quality
