Duties and responsibilities

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor who has experience utilizing processes and methods while conducting audits, inspecting materials and components for defects that could have a negative impact on overall quality. The QA Supervisor should have experience managing a team while possessing leadership skills to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

You’ll be a key member of the leadership team and an integral part of helping our company achieve short-term production targets and longer-term growth and sustainability goals.

· Maintain Quality Management System, write new QMS procedures/processes, audit quality process for adherence to QMS.

· Effectively communicate, document, and drive all quality problems to respective individuals and ensure resolution.

· Lead or support problem investigations or process improvement activity

· Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials, in process product, and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.

· Develop Training Plan for Quality Team and ensure adequate training of all new and existing

· Employees.

· Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored, and targets achieved

· Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems.

· Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative staff.

· Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to staff.

· Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action.

· Train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies or arrange for training to be provided.

· Research, compile, and prepare reports, manuals, correspondence, or other information required by management or governmental agencies.

· Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management.

· Coordinate activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments.

· Participate in the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.

· Make recommendations to management concerning such issues as staffing decisions or procedural changes.

Qualifications

· Experience of FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Kaizen/A3 (continuous improvement and problem solving), process improvement and Poka Yoke (error proofing) techniques

· Significant work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive

· Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail.

· Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict

· deadlines/timescales.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

· Leadership experience with teams of 5+

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
