Quality Assurance Team Member

This full-time position is primarily responsible for managing the integrity of the inventory for all products by making sure the product meets set quality standards, and by maintaining accurate inventory in Apprise. This job involves physical activity as well as computer work. Attention to details, Apprise, Excel, Outlook emailing and product knowledge is required.

• Schedule: Alternate Weekly Sun - Thurs 2pm- 10pm / Sun - Thurs 4pm Finish + 1 Saturday a Month (extra hours and days as needed per business needs)
• Training for this position will be M-F 9-5 until fully trained
• Making sure that product meets DVFG quality requirements
• Performing cooler sweeps to assist the Pick/Pack operation
• Making necessary adjustments to inventory in Apprise
• Sending allocation messages to sales and Central Desk when needed
• Setting up supplier credits
• Helping operations when needed as well as educating pickers and packers on product quality
• Assist sales with product inquiries
• Working with Product Management team on relating to Product Quality issues
• Help in Product Returns Product Processing as needed.

Work Environment:

The employee must be able to work in cooler temperatures (34-36 degrees) during inspection periods in the coolers but also be prepared to complete the role in the QA office working in Apprise and with email.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and read. This position is very active and requires walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee must frequently lift/and or move items up to 50 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of Apprise software, Word, Excel and Outlook. (training provided)
