Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW
Responsible for timely and efficient customer and supplier notification processing including initial investigation, sample & data collection and review for accuracy. Role also includes frequent communication, both written and verbal, with various levels including supervisors, plant leadership team, customer service, sales, customers, and our vendors.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance for customer and supplier notification system to maintain the orderly and efficient processing of notifications for the facility
  • Initial investigation of notifications, including data collection, sample review, defect bounding and other assistance to claim owner
  • All tasking related to root cause and corrective actions, dispositions & returned material inventory management and credit
  • Clear and consistent communication with supervisors, leadership team, customers and vendors
  • SOC system management with input from plant technical team
  • Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE VALUE
  • Operational experience with a thorough knowledge of AFNA’s organizational structure and production processes or comparable industry.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with corporate supplier quality, vendors, process engineering, sales, customers, operations and product development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to accomplish work through others without direct supervision
  • Must be results oriented, multi-tasking and be able to respond to urgent needs and meeting deadlines.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
  • Proficient in Excel. Knowledge of SAP, AIMS and eSOC.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
  • 1-3 years of operations experience in flexible packaging organization or comparable industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred

  • Monday – Friday
