This is a consulting role - should go 6-12 months - open to contract to hire if interested.

Our Automotive group is looking for a candidate that has worked in an operational and project setting as a Business or Data Analyst. This individual needs to excel in problem-solving, critical thinking, analysis, testing and documentation, as well as overseeing quality processes around data calculations and reporting

This is a Quality Control Analyst position but It's very much like a Business Analyst role. This person will be doing lots of SQL on their own.

Responsibilities:

• • Track quality control issues across projects and follow up with appropriate team members to ensure resolution
  • Provide improvement recommendations on ongoing operational processes
  • Maintain, organize and create thorough documentation for ongoing operational processes
  • Assist new hires with understanding of their data validation requirements
  • Determine and help customer mangers understand what needs to be tested, and how to test, early on in the process
  • Define verification and validation steps to ensur reporting and payment data is accurate

QA/Testing

• • Perform QA testing of larger new development items
  • Assist development team by testing changes to core functionality and ensuring it will meet client's needs
  • Create and maintain automated test plans
  • Collaborate with Customer Technology Managers on the creation and execution of project test plan

Support

• • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Research and resolve program setup/configuration related questions

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to multi-task, with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use query tools and understand relational database structures and web site development
• Experience with technical writing

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years business and/or data analyst experience

Required technical capabilities:

• Highly proficient in advanced SQL queries
• Advanced Excel skills
• HTML experience

In office for first 90 days, then hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
