*Quality Control Lab Technician (Hybrid)*
Location: Schenectady, NY
**
*What you’ll do:*
As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you will be responsible for composting, sampling and logging in of samples for analysis in the laboratory. This position will require high attention to detail and good organizational skills to ensure accurate labeling, sample custody and proper documentation.

*Key responsibilities:*
- Logs incoming production and raw material samples for analytical testing.
- Reviews data to ensure accuracy prior to reporting.
- Performs administrative lab tasks, such as updating SOP’s.
- Keeps supervisor informed of work status and suggests follow-up action to resolve atypical results and any problems encountered.
- Maintains good documentation practices.
- Ensures incidents are investigated, reported, and risks are assessed in a timely basis.
- Acts in such a way that safety awareness & accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.
You bring:
- High school diploma required.
- 0-3 years of lab experience
- General knowledge of quality control techniques.
- Understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (outlook, word, and excel)
