Summary of Job: The Quality Coordinator position is responsible for providing professional support to the Quality Management Program. This includes data gathering, analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides general support to the Quality Management Program.
  • Works with various departments to support them in completing activities associated with Quality Management.
  • Identifies quality concerns, tracks trends and recommends actions to improve the quality of care and services.
  • Provides database creation and management, data compilation, statistical analysis and chart creation as related to Performance Improvement areas, Utilization Management and trending of quality indicators.
  • Participates and directs events as related to the preparation and subsequent responses needed for accreditation and licensing surveys.
  • Collaborates with appropriate staff to ensure that identified opportunities for enhancement are implemented, monitored and completed.
  • Assists with preparation, coordination and presentation of Quality Improvement training.
  • Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the concepts of Continuous Process Improvement and related regulatory requirements.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and graphics.
  • Ability to conduct statistical analyses.
  • Ability to travel out of state.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or health-related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of quality management experience.

Driving Requirements:
  • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
  • If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment
Office environment with moderate noise. Travels out of state as necessary.
