POSITION SUMMARY: Quality Manager. The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and executing inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure that products adhere closely to company standards.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise a team of Quality Technicians, Quality Inspectors, and Warranty Technicians.
• Prepare an annual expense and CAPEX budget.
• Prepare monthly quality metrics and associated gap analysis and corrective action plans, drive closure of the associated actions.
• Responsible for Capability Studies, pFMEA and Control Plans for new / revised parts.
• Review quality problems and drive associated corrective action
• Facilitate statistical process control of selected processes and drive appropriate corrective actions.
• Facilitate internal corrective action reports using structured problem solving (KT Problem Analysis, 8D).
• Facilitate continuous improvement projects using appropriate DMAIC and Lean Methods.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 10 years of experience in the quality field.
• 2+ years of experience supervising employees.
• Blueprint reading & Geometric Tolerancing
• Computer literate (email, excel, powerpoint, & word)
• Proficiency with basic gages & profilometers.
• Proficiency with inspection, auditing & Statistical Process Control.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and mutitask.
• Work independently yet be a key team player.
• Proficiency with KT Problem Analysis, 8D and DMAIC methodology.
