R&D Lab Assistant/Electrical Technician (Entry level) Job at Enphase Energy
We are looking for a Entry/Junior R&D Lab/Electronic Technician to set up, maintain and repair electronic systems and devices including high-capacity battery systems. You’ll test system performance, analyze and report on results.
Experience using various hand and power tools to install and maintain electronic system components and wiring. To succeed in this position, you should also be able to comprehend and follow complex technical manuals.
Candidate should have familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Electronic Loads and other test equipment.
Responsibilities include maintaining parts warehouse including lifting materials weighing 50lbs or more.
Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Lab Manager the technician will:
- Set up electronic systems and devices including high-capacity batteries
- Create cables and assemble and connect system components
- Rework PCBs using standard soldering practices
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Test system functionality and analyze data
- Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams
- Update reports and maintain inventory
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks
- Use various hand and power tools to build and repair systems
- Python programming knowledge a plus
- Associate Degree or 0-2 Years of experience
- Operate various equipment
- Forklift
- Pallet Jack
- Hand Truck
- Pack and Unpack boxes weighing up to 175 Ibs.
Education
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Salary range: $25.96 - $36.06 per hour
