Our growing practice, SLO Peak Dentistry, in San Luis Obispo, CA is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant.
We are located on 862 Meinecke Ave Ste 200.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and passionate about patient care.
This is a full time position with 401K, medical, dental and vision benefits, vacation, sick and holiday pay.
Responsibilities
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
- Assist dentist chairside by handling supplies and instruments as requested.
- Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take high quality dental radiographs.
- Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
- Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist.
- - Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
Qualifications
- RDA license or DA with work history to support equivalent competency
- X-ray certificate or will train for the right candidate

*1 year experience as a Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant *Experience with Open Dental software is helpful, but we will train if needed.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $28.00/hour.
