Ready Mix Driver - Portable Plant Job at BURNCO Colorado, LLC
Outstanding Mixer Driver Opportunity in Colorado. Come operate one of BURNCO's Portable Concrete Plants and help build the largest Pepsi facility in the nation! Of course, you will be expected to operate one of our Ready-Mix trucks safely and efficiently to deliver perishable products (concrete) onto site within tight construction schedules.

- Safely Drive and Obey All Traffic Laws
- Truck Maintenance and Housekeeping
What You Will Be Doing
- Safely operate a Ready-Mix truck with timely deliveries and order accuracy
- Complete routine maintenance of equipment, including reporting minor mechanical issues timely and thorough cleanliness of unit daily
- Contribute to keeping areas in and around the plant clean and hazard free
- Comply with BURNCO policies and local, state, and federal regulations including DOT and company driving requirements
- Complete required paperwork such as proper pre-trip/post-trip inspections (DVIRs) and work orders
- Escalate concerns to supervisor
- Cross train as needed
- Other duties as assigned
What We Would Like From You
- Ability to maintain proper attendance while working irregular hours
- Ability to work from other BURNCO plants based on business needs
- Ability to pass PSP, MVR, background check, drug test and physical assessment
- Ability to manage emotions in stressful or frustrating situations
- Ability to learn the various Ready-Mix designs and material components such as admixtures, slump/water ratios, and concrete properties/consistencies
- Commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork
Education and Experience
- 21+ years old with valid CDL license preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Travel Requirement
- Only as needed
Wage Range: $25.50 - $34.00
Bonus Eligibility: Annual Hour Bank Accrual
