Athena-SCE manufactures gaskets, primarily for the automotive aftermarket, OE and Industrial.

We are looking for a committed individual, who enjoys clerical work and will help to better the systems and procedures of the company.

The Athena-SCE Receptionist and Data Entry Specialist is primarily responsible for entering customer orders, as requested by customers updating and/or checking order status and following up on orders with the customer and internally with the shipping and receiving department. The Receptionist will collect specific data and maintain records within the company database. The Receptionist will answer phone calls, update existing product data within excel spreadsheets, organize data, follow-up with customers, and strive to maintain company goals.

The Receptionist and Data Entry Specialist will be the main person who greets vendors upon entry to the facility and they must present themselves in a professional manner in person and on the phone. They must have a keen eye for accuracy and follow up. The person must be very proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office and/or very familiar with the platform with the intention to further their knowledge with classes to improve their skills.

The Athena-SCE Receptionist will be working from 8:30a.m. - 3:00p.m. Monday through Friday, with the option of moving to full time, or extending afternoon work hours until 5:00p.m., if they so desire.

This position will start at $17.00 per hour
