This position serves the patient care, education, and research mission of UCDH by independently managing on-line and manual personnel transactions for all staff employees and providing overall UCPath Support. Performs a wide scope of technical and analytical duties to support the day-to-day objectives and short/long-range goals of the Human Resources Department.

• Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
• In-depth knowledge of or ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize both the Hospital and the Corporate Payroll Personnel Systems and how they interact and interface with each other.
• Ability to support HR objectives through the use of computer systems and applications.
• Reading and comprehension skills to understand and Interpret policy/procedures, union contracts and state/federal laws as they pertain to personnel/payroll transactions.
• Analytical skills to understand the needs and requirements for reporting, and the ability to translate specification.
• Ability to comprehend policies and applications that may be technical in nature a d how they apply to HRIS.

• Experience with UCDH Enterprise Systems.

• This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
