The selected individual will work full-time to support Records Operations Staff in transitioning records located in storage facilities at Y-12 from paper copy to an electronic format. No travel is required for this position.
Duties will include:
- Reviewing boxes for classification markings, ensuring correct information is contained in the box, perform inventory, perform scanning of documents and placing those documents in a shared folder.
- Due to the nature of tasks to be performed, a working knowledge and demonstrated application of the Y-12 Classified Matter Protection and Control (CMPC) requirements, successful completion of CMPC classroom training, information system security officer training, as well as working knowledge of site procedures concerning the handling of classified/controlled unclassified information is required. Training can be obtained after beginning the work.
- Additional site and job specific training may be required.
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and 2 to 4 years of experience.
- Successful drug screening.
- Must be US citizen.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
