Records Technician – 27050 Job at Exela Technologies Inc.
- Ability to enter accurate file and document information into a records management database
- Locate, compile and distribute requested files, documents and information
- Use a handheld bar-code scanner to track the location and movement of files
- Process inactive and closed files in preparation for transfer to off-site storage
- Research case information in various client databases as needed
- Identify objective data and enter (“key what you see”) at a high level of productivity and accuracy
- Perform data entry task from a paper and/or document image
- Utilize system functions to perform data look-up and validation
- Maintain high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work
- Identify, classify, and sort documents electronically
- Locate, retrieve, maintain, organize and assist users
- Retrieve and/or archive documents
- Ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service objectives
- Maintain accuracy of required reports and logs
- Ensure the highest level of customer care
- Ensure adherence to business guidelines, safety, and security procedures
- Support financial results by minimizing site waste and rework
- Create excel spreadsheets, and word documents
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and deadlines is critical
- Dependable, Self-motivated and accountable
- Must be a team player with a solution minded attitude
- Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned (answer phones, outgoing shipments, etc.)
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and company personnel • Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to adhere to employer's attendance policy
- Work experience in email and Microsoft Windows environments is required
- Ability to stand, bend and stretch to retrieve files and boxes from shelves
- Ability to climb short ladders or step stools and keeping balance with or without loaded boxes
•Ability to load, push and unload carts of boxes or files
- Ability to lift, move and shelve files and records storage boxes up to 55 lbs or the maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations
- Participate on special Records projects – criteria as determined
- Perform activities as requested by Records/Site Manager
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry a plus
- At least one (1) years of previous records management or file room experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience required
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, email applications required
- Must have general clerical typing, keyboarding and data entry skills
- Ability to operate office equipment including, but not limited to; copiers, scanners and printers
- Ability to use problem-solving skills in order to resolve client issues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 per hour
