Strategy & Operations Analyst

In your role as an Strategy & Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and execution of projects that may span across areas in Strategy & Operations including Product Originations, Customer Service, Servicing, Recoveries. Additionally, core to the responsibility of each member of the Strategy & Operations team is to continually challenge the status quo to ensure optimization of all processes that support the full customer lifecycle - your work will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the business.

What you do at Avant:

Manage initiatives that focus on process optimization and efficiency

Own end-to-end execution from identification and initial assessment through to recommendation and implementation

Coordinate with department leaders and business stakeholders to better understand objectives and ensure that operational processes align with product and business goals

Oversee the execution and ongoing management of strategic deliverables set forth by Leadership

Build/maintain operational dashboards and reporting suite to track, manage, and provide valuable insights on metrics and KPIs
-
Create and deliver executive level reporting, including monthly and quarterly updates
-
Primary focus on Collections and Recovery strategy execution and process optimization
-
Contributes to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices

Ensures project completion, special assignments, and other ad hoc activities as required

Ensures the Operations Team is in compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures

Utilize SQL, R, Python for the purpose of data querying, monitoring and data visualization
-
Execute debt sales, contact strategy, settlements and collections/recovery projects in a timely manner and make policy adjustments, provide strategy recommendations with the ultimate goal of optimizing risk

Interact with vendors in the identification, tracking and resolution of issues and concerns

Serve as the point of contact for debt sales and settlement strategies.

Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills
