The position is responsible for the daily front gym check in desk operations. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making and critical thinking skills to ensure the best customer service and safety for patrons. Individuals must be assertively friendly and have a working knowledge about facilities and services provided to members and must take price in the quality of their work by demonstrating effective communication and initiative. Individuals must also be able to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence while representing CLCCA. Collaboration and ability to work with others is required for success in this position.
Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience, cash handling experience, security experience, CPR/First Aid Certified or the ability to get certified within 30 days of employment.
Duties:
- Manage entrance into the center with card swipe or by accepting the daily fee.
- Enforce all policies
- Daily facility inspection rounds
- Assist with room & gym rentals, setting up chairs, tables, volleyball nets, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility. This will require light janitorial duties such as sweeping the gym, taking out trash, window cleaning, cleaning fitness equipment, etc.
- Attend regularly team meetings
- Must arrive 15 minutes prior to shift
Hiring for weekends and weekday shifts.
*Schedules can be adjusted for the right individuals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
