The Recruiter will be part of our Driver Services team and will be recruiting for independent contractor drivers throughout the country.
Essential Functions
- Develops candidate pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups, social media, database searches, and referrals.
- Partners with hiring managers to identify specifications for open positions; creates job descriptions as needed.
- Supports the full cycle recruitment process, conducts phone screen interviews, conducts background checks, and drafts contracts.
- Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
- Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.- Experience recruiting within the logistics industry a plus.
- Proven abilities to attract/hunt passive candidates and build strong pipelines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent assessment and interviewing skills.
- Proactive, self-starter, goal oriented and ability to work independently, including from a virtual home environment.
- Must be Internet and Social Media savvy, specifically with websites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, JazzHR, Indeed.com
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems
- Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent customer service delivery.
