Recruitment Specialist
Woodfords' Development team has an opening for a full-time, exempt Recruitment Specialist. The Recruitment Specialist is housed in our Westbrook, Maine administrative building, and will travel to all Woodfords' locations regularly. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively in a professional environment as a valuable member of a dedicated, high-performing team. Hybrid (remote and onsite) opportunity upon successful completion of Introductory Period.

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting a diverse set of employees to meet the agency's mission and varied program and department needs. This position also works as part of a team to ensure positive employee engagement and retention of employees.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 4:30pm
Compensation
- $46,000 to $52,000 commensurate with education and experience

Recruitment Specialist Profile:
Success in the Recruitment Specialist role requires the following knowledge, experience, skills and abilities:
- Experience in recruiting, marketing, human resources and/or social services fields
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; will consider experience in lieu of degree
- Basic knowledge of employment law, specifically pertaining to interviewing and hiring
- Excellent persuasive writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including in-person, verbally and in written communications
- Ability to work independently and creatively in an organized manner, creating new opportunities, and testing strategies
- Be able to coordinate and communicate effectively among departments and external referral sources
- Robust computer skills, including database management and report generation
- Experience with digital and social media advertising preferred
- Ability to research and analyze data, and make decisions based on emerging trends
- Ability to navigate through time-sensitive situations
- Ability to manage advertising budgets
- Motivation to take initiative, produce consistently high-quality work, with an emphasis on accuracy, details, and follow-through, and ongoing learning
- Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality at all times.
- Possess a valid driver's license, have use of a vehicle and willingness to travel
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
Position Posting : Collaborates with program and administrative staff to identify open positions and ensure accurate job descriptions. Posts open positions internally on agency website and externally on a variety of job boards.
Position Advertising: Identifies advertising opportunities and creates marketing plan for open positions including digital media, social media, radio, print, hiring events, etc.
Network Building: Creates opportunities for partnerships and builds relationships with potential applicant referral and feeder sources, including academic institutions, career centers, job placement programs, and other organizations.
Sourcing and Screening Potential Applicants: Proactively sources potential applicants from a variety of platforms.
Manage Applicant Tracking System: Manages use of agency's applicant tracking system to track the progress of all applicants through the hiring process.
Employee Retention: Participates in small teams and committees related to hiring, and retaining employees. Actively participates in planning and executing of employee retention activities
