Regional Billing Manager Job at Williams Bros Health Care Pharmacy
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the mission and vision of Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy.
- Work with various department billing managers to identify areas of accounts receivable risk and develop plans to mitigate.
- Proactively identify ways to improve the timeliness and effectiveness of collecting on open accounts receivable.
- Participate in the overall company efforts to reduce Days Sales Outstanding, reduce aged accounts receivable and improve weekly cash collections.
- Work with collection agencies and corporate attorney’s to collect on outstanding accounts receivable.
- Provide updates to WB’s Executive Leadership on risk areas and mitigations, current collection efforts, outstanding accounts receivable balances and assessment of overall accounts receivable functions.
- Initiate accounts receivable metrics and related targets for each billing department.
- Assist the Controller in the analysis of account receivable reserves.
- Gain a solid understanding of the company’s various billing systems and processes.
- Provide plan improvements for under achieving metrics.
- Provide billing departments with tools and suggestions to improve their ability to collect more effectively on outstanding accounts receivable.
- Assist the Controller as required on various ad hoc requests.
- Seek continual self-improvement by working with the Controller on career development needs.
- Provide process improvement and internal control improvement suggestions to the Controller as identified through the performance of these principal roles and responsibilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management staff
Experience Required:
- 5 years of work experience required in medical billing
Education/Certifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or health related field

Preferred- Bachelors or better in Health Administration or related field
