General overview of the role
The Regional Director is responsible for leading and providing direction and guidance to the regional team to achieve the Company’s strategic initiatives and goals, while maximizing revenue and profitability. This role will be instrumental in developing a high performing team, a collaborative culture, accountability and customer service, all operating within the values of the company. This leader is critical to the development of the team and business results.

Responsibilities:

  • Positively communicates and models the Company’s Values and fosters a culture that treats everyone with respect. Must have the ability to build strong relationships at all levels while developing trust.
  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve sales growth, profit objectives and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop a high performing team by setting clear expectations that focus on the Region’s key drivers that impact success.
  • Responsible for budgeting, profit / loss results and expense approval for the Region.
  • Partners with the ROM on execution of results;
  • Provide consultation and / or correction for under-performing stores.
  • Coach Store Managers in developing action plans to improve performance and/or develop team.
  • Train and empower store leaders to be resourceful and find solutions to meet objectives and standardsStore Manager development through regular store visits and review of store performance, providing performance feedback and ongoing coaching opportunities and providing recognition to drive sales and culture.
  • Attract, develop and retain regional talent
  • Lead Guest Service Initiatives
  • Collaborate with ZVP, Regional Support Team (HR/LP), peer Directors and Corporate partners to influence organizational change and achieve Company objectives.
  • Actively participate in project teams to develop programs and processes which will drive process improvements, best practices and improve the store experience.

  • Knowledgeable in the off-price retail market, retail market trends and new developments made by competitors.
  • Must possess strong leadership and coaching skills that will result in growth and development of team members
  • Ability to think strategically to define business opportunities, analyze the information resulting in solutions to improve business to achieve objectives
