Position Summary
Coastal Healthcare Alliance has an immediate need for a full time Regional Executive Administrative Assistant to join our care team. This position will support both Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport and Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast. The Regional Executive Administrative Assistant provides advanced administrative/project management support to the Chief Nursing Officer, as well as to the clinical leadership team, with various administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Associates Degree required, BA/BS preferred.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: 2-3 years' experience required in an Administrative support position; 5 years' experience preferred.
- Experience in a similar role for the healthcare industry preferred
- Experience with medical terminology preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with professional demeanor
- Unquestionable integrity and an understanding of confidentiality
- Dedicated and reliable
- Strong sense of responsibility and self-starter; comfortable with multi-tasking
- Ability to create and maintain efficient file and record management to meet state laws and regulatory requirements
- Utilizes effective computer skills in the following programs: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Normal use and management of office equipment and procedures
- Performs other duties as required/requested
