Located in some of the most iconic outdoor destinations, Field Station makes it even easier for everyone to get outside more often. Our first location will open in Moab, Utah in Spring 2023.

As a Regional Group Sales Manager for AutoCamp you’ll be responsible for ensuring that Group Revenue goals are achieved or exceeded across a select portfolio of properties. A successful AutoCamp Regional Group Sales Manager will “hunt” for profitable group business by soliciting, developing and most importantly closing group business across the corporate segment. This position will be based in Southern California and serve our California and Utah properties. Please note that while this is currently a remote position, there is a strong preference for someone located within (or willing to relocate to) 120 miles from Santa Barbara, CA.

Essential Functions

  • Perform targeted outbound solicitation of group business to strategically grow overall property revenue and profit.
  • Consistently booking repeat business
  • Aggressively pursuing new accounts/business on a weekly basis.
  • Develop long term business relationships across the portfolio
  • Works with Revenue Management Team to understand how to appropriately price group business to maximize revenues
  • Making on-property and field presentations to prospective clients.
  • Establish relationships and network with key 3rd parties to garner a robust volume of qualified lead referrals for group business.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual booking goals.
  • Track and measure all sales activity by tracking all leads from inquiry to final billing.
  • Create a 5-star experience for potential clients during site visits, pre-planning meetings and event execution.
  • Maintains up-to-date awareness of area activities and market trends.
  • Promote awareness of our brand internally and externally. By networking with third party referral sources as well as attending appropriate trade shows.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with all Supervisors and Associates, and supports the team to reach common goals.
  • Represents AutoCamp professionally including at trade shows, conferences, and other events to drive group business
  • Ensures group expectations and details communicated by customers are met on-property to insure a 5-star experience.
Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 year prior hotel group sales manager experience preferably high-end boutique or resort destinations.
  • Multi-property group sales experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability and track record of consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Proactive sales approach, driven to succeed
  • Track record of developing long term sales relationships
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Based Applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a passion for the great outdoors.
