  • Must live in a New England State (Preferable NY, NJ, MA)
  • Battery or Automotive Industry Experience preferred
  • Must have P&L management experience
  • Salary TBD but will include Annual Bonus potential up to 20% of annual salary

The Regional Vice President, Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the battery distribution company in the Northeast Region. This includes managing inventory, safety, accounts receivable, sales growth of new and existing customers and distribution of batteries to customers, as well as ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed. The Regional Vice President, Operations is also responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the company in the region through the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L ownership for the Northeast Region and all individual Branches
  • Oversee the daily operations of the battery distribution company in the Northeast region, including managing inventory, logistics, and distribution of batteries to customers
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability in the region
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed and that all employees adhere to safety protocols
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change
  • Work directly with the sales team to identify and secure new business opportunities in the region along with maintain retention and organic growth of the current customer base
  • Manage and motivate a team of employees, including setting performance goals, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise within the region and develop and implement solutions to resolve them
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments and make recommendations for how the company can adapt and stay competitive
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute company-wide strategies and initiatives
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior management and serve as a thought leader within the organization

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the battery distribution industry or Automotive Industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of employees
  • P&L Management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues and challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel as needed within the region and occasionally outside the region
  • Experience in developing and executing company-wide strategies and initiatives preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,470.74 - $215,216.85 per year
