Registered Behavior Technician (Maspeth) Job at Helping Hands ABA, P.C.
We are a dynamic behavioral health agency looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-to-one with a child with autism in the Maspeth area. If you do not have an RBT certification, still apply!
Required Degrees/Certifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, education, etc.) is preferred
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); or willingness to participate in our ABA training course
Required Skills:
- Experience with Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT); Natural Environment Teaching (NET); and the implementation of behavioral support plans
- Experience working with parents
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with autism
