Sandstone Psychology is looking for a behavior technician who has a passion for helping children with autism spectrum disorder that can help build our program into something special. We are looking for someone who is motivated to make a difference and is willing to collaborate with others. Sandstone focuses on being in-step with the needs of the communities where we serve. Within the realm of Autism Services, we seek to raise the level of ABA services being provided in homes throughout underserved communities of Utah. In addition, we hope to engage our RBT's in program development, social skills training, parent training, group therapy, and a variety of other tasks that elevate the quality of care that individuals and families receive.

Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of the Autism Services Director to build a thriving Autism Services and Testing Program at Sandstone Psychology.

Provide the highest quality of ABA services in both in-home and in-office settings:

• Work one on one with children with autism in their home or in our clinic, with the oversight from Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Implement instructional programs, teach adaptive living skills, and implement behavior interventions
• Collect data, complete session notes, and maintain communication with the Behavior Analyst regarding the child’s needs

Effectively manage a caseload while maintaining an adequate life balance/self-care

Stay current/up to date with continuing education and licensure requirements

Engage in consultations/collaborate with other providers

Participate and contribute during team meetings

Engage in projects meant to improve service-delivery and other important areas of autism work.

Required Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor degree in a related field (preferred but not required)

Two or more years of experience with children (preferred but not required)
