Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current, valid state RN license in good standing
• Negative TB skin test (2) or chest x-ray. In-house testing available.
• Licensed driver
• Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Duties:

-School nurse position serving the whole campus of students

-Distribution of daily scheduled medications

-Attending to diabetic students (Monitor blood sugars and administering insulin.)

-Wound care PRN

-Mental Health concerns (anxiety)

-Stomach Aches, Head Aches, cuts and scrapes, strains

-Basic Nursing Care for entire campus

-Works with Electronic Medical Record
