Registered Nurse - Oncology Job at Crouse Hospital
4 South Oncology is a 36 bed Oncology/GYN Surgical Unit and treats patients with solid tumors, hematologic oncology disorders, infections secondary to immunosuppression, anemia including adult Sickle Cell Anemia, gynecological disorders (surgical and medical), gynecological oncologic disorders, and patients receiving radium implants for cancer therapy. 4S Oncology provides services such as chemotherapy administration, post-operative care, blood and blood product administration, palliative care, in-patient hospice care, diagnostics and patient and family education.
A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.

Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree
- A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree
- Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
- Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred:
- Certification in a specialty area.

Schedule: Full-Time(36 hrs/wk)/(3) 12-hour shifts, Day/Evenings, 7:00am-7:30 pm M-F rotating weekends & holidays
