Registered Nurse: PRN (MH/BH) Job at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health
Description:
We're seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to work in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTF) for adolescent females and males at our Glenmoore, PA location ( NOTE: Glenmoore PRTF will be moving to West Chester within the next 3-4 months). Our programs provide clinical treatment, educational instruction and behavioral intervention services to children and adolescents with psychiatric and behavior conduct disorders.
Our Registered Nurses perform direct nursing care, administer medication, take doctor's orders, provide education and coping skills to patients around sex education, suicidal behaviors, symptom management, self control, etc. RN is also responsible for creation of initial care plan and discharge planning. You will not only focus on the health and wellness of the individuals we serve, but also serve as an educator to the entire family emphasizing wellness and self-care by providing individuals and their families with the information they need to make healthy life style choices and health care decisions.

he Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires staff without an approved medical or religious exemption to be fully vaccinated to be employed in this program. - $1,000 Sign On Bonus (Sign on bonus for external applicants only)
- PRN Work Requirement: 4 shifts/month + 1 Summer and 1 Winter Holiday
- PRN Rate= $40.00/hr

Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Previous professional experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred, but will train you and provide you with the additional skills you need to succeed.
