Registered Nurse (RN) Part Time Pediatric Float Nurse

GHR is currently hiring nurses for the 2022/2023 school year with the opportunity to extend each year. We have partnered with the Berks County Intermediate Unit to assist in their MDS classrooms throughout the county. Time to acclimate to the classroom is available and will have the option to return each year either through GHR or if hired by the IU directly!

Job Details

• Starting at $34/hour
• Shift Time: 8A - 3:30P Monday through Thursday
• Hiring ASAP for this position!
• Nurse is responsible for covering medical needs of students who may have seizure disorders, epi-pens, or may be diabetic.
• Nurse will also be expected to cover medical needs for students who may not have a private duty nurse yet.

• If no medical needs are needed for the day, the nurse will be asked to help out in the classroom as a paraprofessional, while still being paid their hourly nurse rate.
• Looking for someone who will be a team player and is adaptable to change
• Certified School Nurse License NOT required.
• GHR DOES NOT require our nurses to sign a non-compete clause! Not limited to where you can work!
• Covid Vaccine is NOT required if exemption is provided.

Job Requirement

• PA Registered Nurse (RN) of 1 year or greater
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse either in a school nurse's office or pediatric setting within the last 2 years
• Must be confident to work hands on with special needs children.
