Job Description:
Organize, plan, control and guarantee the execution of maintenance plans through "world class maintenance" methodology, CMMS and continuous management and training of technical professionals in the plants, with the objective of increasing the availability, safety, and reliability of the equipment.
Responsibilities

• Promote safety in the workplace by carrying out training and lectures and monitoring the use of PPE and compliance with safety standards.
• Work together with Process Engineer and Quality to deploy a complete VQS in each equipment (Work instructions, product characteristics, autonomous and preventive maintenance).
• Support maintenance managers/leaders to keep the plant assets in optimum working condition through the execution of preventive and predictive maintenance plans and planned correctives, train all maintenance managers/leaders on the perfect use of CMMS.
• Develop technical training, matrix and materials, including troubleshooting, with Process Engineer for all plant maintenance teams.
• Collaborate in the hiring of new technical professionals helping to define the professional profile and interviews.
• Monitor the implementation of new equipment, with maintenance plans involving all plant technicians.
• Elaborate and justify new investments, and together with project engineers, develop a road map for equipment update, refurbishment, and substitution.
• Promote improvements in equipment performance through Kaizen in conjunction with OPEX, Process Engineer and plant maintenance teams.
• Support Project and Process Engineers in the implementation of automation in production processes with an emphasis on productivity gains and optimization of labor, seeking new technologies and replicating them in other plants.
• Implementation of 5S in technical areas together with OPEX;
• Increase the number of technicians able to program PLC's and promote their updating, standardizing knowledge in software and hardware.
• Replicate lessons learned, standard maintenance practices, standardize equipment, increasing the synergies across the substrate to have all plants on the same level.
• Coordinates, organizes, and maintains the critical spare part program across all substrate facilities.
• Work together with other engineering teams, with the common purpose of building a strong technical foundation at the plants.
• Collaborate across substrate with Reliability Engineers on tools, programs, and strategy execution.
• Partner with Global Operations Group in the areas of OPEX and equipment reliability.

Background

• Bachelor in one or more of the following engineering educations: Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electric Engineering, Automation Engineering

• English
• Spanish – Intermediate (Desirable)

Professional Experience
Skills

• 5 years or more working in process engineering, desirable to be dedicated substrate.
• Travel required (50-60%).
