Position Summary
Aeon is seeking a Housing Application Processor to support the leasing and move in process of Aeon's property management teams throughout the Twin Cities. This position would office remotely the majority of the time, as part of Aeon's Compliance team, but may work in-person given property/potential resident needs. This position requires strong attention to detail and a keen focus on accuracy, as the main focus of this position will be processing housing applications for rental eligibility of market and affordable apartment homes. This position will also support some marketing of available apartment homes as well as all aspects of the property management leasing process. The Housing Application Processor reports to the Director of Compliance.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Application Processing: gather, verify and accurately document all income, asset, living history and other required information in the rental housing application process for prospective residents. The application processing function will be this position's main focus.
- Leasing & Marketing: Maintain current knowledge of apartment availability, rates and features. Maintain prospect and leasing information using RentCafe. Support the execution of the marketing plan which could include community outreach, maintaining prospective resident lists, and leasing event planning/hosting. Support the leasing team with content and implementation of property websites, email generation, social media posting and general community marketing.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who is able to think critically and adapt to changing rules and regulations. The candidate will have the ability to compile information from many sources in an organized way and have an interest in nonprofit marketing, communications and lease-up functions.
- Understanding of changing technologies, and ability to successfully utilize digital and other channels
- Results-driven style, strong attention to detail, personal accountability and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Ability to handle shifting and multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Willing to work individually, while retaining team-orientated goals
- Ability to engage in high level customer service that is culturally responsive, ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations of residents, staffs, vendors, community members, etc... is required
- Must have a commitment to learning and participating in Aeon's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
Work Hours and Remote Options
This position will allow for much of the work to be done remotely. However, availability for in-person work is required, given property, team, and potential resident needs. As such, this position is only open to Minnesota residents at this time. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role. Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the community and property teams.
