Job Title: Research Assistant

Department: Chemistry & Biomolecular Science

Position Summary: The Department of Chemistry & Biomolecular Science at Clarkson University is looking to fill a short-term part-time Research Assistant position in the laboratory of Bioelectronics and Bioanotechnology headed by Professor Evgeny Katz.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct and support research in the area of biosensors and bioactuators
• Collect and analyze data
• Record and collaborate with others in the department on findings
• Prepare submission to granting agencies and foundations

Essential Skills:

• Candidate should have experience in enzymatic reactions, enzyme mobilization, and bioelectrochemistry
• Knowledge of operating a confocal fluorescent microscope

• MS in Biochemistry
