Cherry Park Plaza is a beautiful, well-established Senior Living Community located in Troutdale, Oregon. We serve Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Our mission is delivering the highest standard of service, promoting the health and happiness of both residents and staff while treating each person with dignity and respect. We are looking for a Health Services Director to oversee our Memory Care and Assisted Living Residents care.
We are looking for an experienced Resident Services Director (RN or LPN) who is knowledgeable, a strong leader, respectful, and shows integrity in everything they do. This position oversees all aspects of the Health Services department by implementing, delivering, and coordinating the care for our incredible residents. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities are vital to success in this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE HEALTH SERVICES DIRECTOR
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support the new resident marketing process, including answering questions, conducting pre-move-in assessments, orienting new residents, and developing strong relationships.
- Conduct resident assessments, develop service plans, and participate in care conferences on an ongoing basis.
- Proactively manage the care of each resident, promoting long-term residency through quality care and oversight.
- Establish and maintain an accurate and safe medication program
- Ensure all resident records and charting is accurate and current.
- Develop and maintain a positive image within the surrounding community.
- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, ancillary personnel, and others on a regular basis.
- Act as the point of contact for all resident care issues or concerns.
- Coordinate with other departments, the Executive Director, and Management to reach Community goals.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding Assisted Living, striving for deficiency-free surveys.
- Uphold strong infection control practices, particularly related to COVID.
- Manages and supervises the entire wellness team. This includes the Resident care coordinator, med-techs and caregivers.
- Responsible for all aspects of the employee staffing and scheduling in the wellness department.
SCHEDULE OF THE HEALTH SERVICES DIRECTOR
This position is a FULL TIME position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate after-hour needs or holiday/weekend needs.

COMPENSATION
$70,000 to $100,000/year (commensurate on experience)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 1 or more years of experience in an Oregon Assisted Living or Memory Care Community.
- Licensing: Must have a current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN or LPN) license.
- Education: Must have an Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Skills: Medication management; staff management and training; Microsoft Office, computers, typing, and business communication.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand 75% or more of shifts, support a person’s body weight, and respond to all emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide approved exemption.
