Job Overview:
The server's purpose is to guide guests throughout their dining experience. Through a passion to serve others, you will enhance the experience for the guests. The goal of the server is to exceed every guest's expectations by anticipating their needs. A complete understanding of the menu and drink offerings is required so that you may answer any questions the guest may have. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy self-starter as well as a brand ambassador for The Grill.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests within 30 seconds of arrival.
- Help guests select food and beverages by recommending your genuine preferences.
- Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products.
- Promote specials and be able to answer any inquiries about them.
- Work as a team with other servers, support staff, and kitchen staff.
- Handle guest concerns with a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
- Issue bills and handle different methods of payment.
- Promote the brand to all guests.
- Put orders together and carry to the correct table.
- Communicate with cooks on what is needed.
- Anything else needed or asked upon.
