At Nothing Bundt Cakes in Wheaton, we are looking for a dedicated Key Holder to stay with us long term & grow with our team & company. This is a job that requires a responsible individual that wants to exceed expectations with superior service and creative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting managers in running a shift, as well as on your own
• Expect 20-35 hours a week, with a 6-10 hour shift, and working before major holidays
• Introducing Guests to our product & being familiar with what we offer & our prices
• Assist with phone orders & operate POS with accuracy and efficiency
• Keep retail area clean, swept & dusted throughout the day & week
• Carry out the duties of the crafter & other departments from time to time
• Coordinating timing of all orders between FOH & Frosting departments
• Able to hold down a Crafter shift a couple times a week
• Printing & verifying delivery log & guest orders for next day
• Keeping bakery clean & sanitized
• Organizing orders in reach-in & chiller
• Able to diffuse situations with Guests in the front of the house
• Leading & training fellow GSRs
• Handle offsite events & work occasional Sunday events
• Cash handling when opening or closing bakery and managing deposits

Qualifications:

• Being computer friendly & typing skills
• Able to lift 40+ lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Socializing & handling small talk with guests
• Have reliable transportation along with a drives license, as it may be needed for traveling to offsite events or delivering orders to guests.
• Strong leadership qualities
• Communication skills
• Prior retail or customer service experience
• Being bilingual is a huge plus!
• Illinois Food Handler Certification (can be completed upon start date)
