The Job
A Retail Associate represents the originality and authenticity of all the products that we offer at Anakeesta. The ideal Retail Associate is one who is outgoing, knowledgeable about all items/products, and engaging to the public to promote sales of our retail stock. This individual reports directly to the Retail Manager and works with other Retail Sales Associates.
Your Responsibilities
- Learn and develop knowledge of all products that we have in inventory.
- Learn and use the Point of Sales computerized system for all transactions, inventory, ordering, reconciliation.
- Do stocking and replenishment of all products, inventory of all items.
- Check invoices against orders to verify that the correct items are received.
- Work in a professional manner and always make a professional presentation in both dress and mannerisms.
- Handles all sales transactions through the Point of Sales system and always works with guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Assist guests with purchases including recording transactions and packaging for guests.
- Attends staff and sales meetings to learn new sales techniques.
- Clocks in and out using Point of Sales system to record actual hours worked.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need
- Previous sales and retail experience would be beneficial.
- Experience with cash transactions and credit cards.
- Experience in stocking and displaying products.
- Ability to work with other team members and develop new skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds, to kneel, stoop, and place stock overhead.
