This position will cover all 3 storefronts: Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, and Bellflower.
Job Summary:
The My CBD Hub Retail Associate will assist customers with purchasing merchandise.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
- Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
- Answers customers’ questions about merchandise.
- Assists customers with purchase decisions.
- Maintains cleaning procedures/COVID-19 procedures.
- Works closing shifts.
- Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
- Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Excellent active listening skills.
· Excellent sales and customer service skills.
· Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
· Ability to anticipate customer’s needs.
· Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
· Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous retail experience preferred.
· Social media experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
· Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs at times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
