Parker's Building Supply, a Division of US LBM is seeking a Retail Manager to join their team in Sparta, NC!

Schedule: Full-Time, closed on Sundays

How you will spend your days as a Retail Store Manager:

• Responsible for planning, creation, and achievement of all sales, safety, and operational budgets, goals, and objectives, in consultation with the Company President
• Handle all aspects of staffing, supervision, productivity, communication, and results of all store personnel
• Plan, develop, and implement all store location sales and operations efforts – this includes merchandising, seasonal transitions, estimating inside sales staff quoting, building, maintenance, equipment supplies, etc.
• Display exemplary customer service to external and internal customers
• Keep up to date on current market conditions and provide feedback on how to improve
• Responsible for prompt and accurate processing of paperwork, cash, credits, etc.
• Make recommendations for updating and improving productivity, procedures, and policies

• Demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Have clear communication skills, both written and verbally
• Previous management experience is required
• Experience in building trades or a related industry is preferred
• May be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Other Skills Required- Basic computer skills working within Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Minimum of 2 yrs. experience in retail or lumber/building materials/management skills
• Must be 21 or over with a valid driver license to operate company vehicles
• Must have a clean MVR
