As an individual contributor role, the Returns and Samples Coordinator serves as a liaison between the distribution center, customer service team, and sales team to ensure returns are processed accurately and timely and premium quality samples are provided to stakeholders as needed.

Principal Responsibilities: (provide bullet points of essential and substantive duties)

  • Receives new season garments for sample creation and inspects garment quality and packaging presentation according to appropriate season and sample requirements.
  • Hangs, folds, and packages the sample for best presentation to sales or key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with product development and sales teams about new season sample expectations and deadline goals.
  • Collaborates with internal distribution center teams to accomplish task driven needs.
  • Alerts QC Manager when additional support is needed based on business demands.
  • Monitors deadlines and progress to ensure the samples are delivered on time.
  • Oversees the delivery of samples and adjusts as necessary to ensure the samples are delivered to specifications and high standards.
  • Utilizes internal systems to process sample orders such as email, MS Teams, shipment software (UPS/FedEx) and Blue Cherry.
  • Receives returns, examines cartons for return authorization details, and inspects contents for best quality.
  • Utilizes internal systems to process the RA (return to inventory and credit to customer) utilizing Blue Cherry.
  • Utilizes internal systems such as email, MS Teams and label software to process returns.
  • Scans inventory UPC and locations appropriate to process the return through the WMS and stages cartons for return to stock by the distribution center staff.
  • Communicates with customer service and internal teams on status of returns and total in house returns in process.
  • Follows all safety protocols as outlined for the position.
  • Completes all training requirements timely.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education


High school diploma or GED required.


Preferred:


Associate’s degree in relevant field from accredited university.


Experience


1 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing.


Preferred:


2 years of experience in returns or claims processing.


Qualifications


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Office and WMS software.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols associated with the role.
  • Properly utilize garment measurement techniques and tools.
  • Ability to read and write basic English, follow oral instructions, and perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
