Revenue Accountant (Consultant) Job at NOW CFO
NOW CFO is searching for a Revenue Accountant Consultant to join our client's team on either a temp-to-perm or interim basis in San Diego! This position will be hybrid (2 days/week onsite).
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the monthly analysis and processing/close of the company’s revenue contracts under ASC 606 in Zuora/RevPro systems
- Prepare account reconciliations, revenue schedules, and revenue accruals on a monthly basis
- Generate monthly revenue and deferred revenue reports and variance analysis to management
- Working with FP&A, assist with revenue forecasts and projections for the company
- Maintain accounting records and financial reports per company policies
- Assist in financial audits and implementation of audit recommendations
- Review and enhance internal controls necessary to ensure that revenue forecasts, deferred revenue balances, and revenue accounting processes are compliant with Company policy and GAAP
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years in Revenue Recognition/Revenue Accountant role, preferably in SaaS or software industry
- Strong GAAP knowledge; knowledge of ASC606 Standard preferred
- Strong analytical and research skills
- A self-starter with high attention to detail and organizational skills
- Advanced excel skills & Microsoft Office experience
- Experience working with Zuora/RevPro, Netsuite, or other similar ERP/financial management systems

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
